The Township of Tarbutt wishes to advise all Island residents that the unstaffed recycling depot at the Hwy 17 E Trading Post / Hwy 548 turnoff will be closed on January 17, 2025 when the contract with the current collector comes to an end.

 We understand that residents from other municipalities have come to rely on this service; unfortunately Tarbutt can no longer continue to provide this service without additional support. 

 Residents are encouraged to contact their local municipal office regarding recycling services.
